Community integration is giving an individual with Developmental or Intellectual Disabilities the opportunity to live a normal life in the community. The goal is not merely living in the community, it is the pursuit of belonging in the community. To live, to work, to play, and participate alongside the people in the community. Community Integration is the pursuit of belonging.
